Finding locations yourself for your vending machines can be a great way for you to save money and become familiar with your customer.

XYZ Vending Steps to Locating:

-Find a location that has high traffic or many employees.

-Bring your location help sheet into the location and ask for the manager.

-Begin telling the manager that you are not selling anything and let them know that this is vending machine that is only going to take up an 18"x18" piece of floor space in their establishment.

-Then tell them about the opportunities that the machine can serve such as a snack for their employees as well as for their customers. And if you are using a charity, let them know that the part of the proceeds will go to that charity.

-Show them the location help sheet and let them see the machine and tell them they can pick the color of machine and even the candy that fills it up.

-Tell them how soon you can put it in their location and ask if it would be ok.

-Once you have gotten the location and filled the machine up with the candy of their choice give the manager and/or employees a couple quarters each so that they can use the machine and get into the habit of putting quarters into your machine.

-Make sure to put a decal with your name and number on the back of the machine and point it out to the staff and let them know to call that number if it runs out of product or has any issues.

ADDITIONAL TIPS:

-Fill the candy only 3/4 way full to keep product fresh and to give the impression of use.

-Check machine after 4 weeks and ask if everything has been going well with the machine.
